WMPI Performance Class with Dr. Vasily Popov

Join us in a performance class for WMPI Artists led by Dr. Vasily Popov, conductor, cello Instructor, Associate Chair of Chamber Music at Levine and Curator of String Instruments at Levine Music. The class will take place 2 pm-3:30 pm in Polinger Hall at the Levine Music Silver Spring campus. All are welcome!

Vasily Popov has a B.A., M.M., and D.M.A. in Cello Performance from St. Petersburg Conservatory and an A.D. from Academy of Music and Theater in Munich.

Vasily Popov is a Conductor, Cello Instructor, Associate Chair of Chamber Music at Levine and Curator of String Instruments. He is a former faculty of St. Petersburg Conservatory and was a member of St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, “The Soloists of St. Petersburg”. He has won competitions in Russia and Europe.
