The American Poetry Museum is a community space that fosters poetry as a tool of communication, self-expression, and education. Local poets often collaborate with musicians in this space as a way to intersect both music and writing. Natasha and Zino Bogachek, violinists from the NSO and Opera House Orchestra, will collaborate with two local poets. Multi-instrumentalist Kenji Yokote, who is a cellist in the Washington Musical Pathways Initiative in addition to a fantastic jazz pianist, will close out the performance with jazz standards on the keyboard.
