In this interactive workshop led by musician, teacher, and consultant Julianna Nickel, Artists will be equipped with essential strategies for recording your summer camp and college auditions and conquering in-person auditions. Learn about the audition preparation process leading up and effective day-of strategies to boost your confidence and showcase your best performance.

Julianna Nickel is a musician, teacher, and consultant passionate about filling the gap for musicians applying and auditioning for music schools. Through Juli Nickel Consulting (JNC), she offers personalized support to students and organizations, providing seminars and guidance on the application and audition process. For fourteen years, Juli was the Adjunct Professor of Flute at George Mason University, where she led a thriving flute studio.

In addition to her teaching, Julianna is an active performer regularly performing with leading ensembles in the DC area and has been the principal flutist of several regional orchestras. Juli attended the New England Conservatory of Music and many summer festivals including Tanglewood, National Repertory Orchestra, National Orchestral Institute, and the Aspen Music Festival.
